In honour of the victims of the Quebec City attack...

In honour of the victims of the Quebec City attack, we've chosen two lesbian Muslim authors for February and March: If You Could Be Mine by Sara Farizan, a young Iranian American author, and A Map of Home by Randa Jarrar, another Arab-American. In April we'll read Michelle Tea's latest, Black Wave . May we'll read Charlotte Wood's  The Natural Way of Things . Some other options we'll likely be adding to our reading list: Emma Donoghue's The Wonder . Zoe Whittall's The Best Kind of People . Stella Duffy's London Lies Beneath . Gina Cole's Black Ice Matter . Tara Clancy's memoir The Clancys of Queens . Nicole Dennis-Benn's Here Comes The Sun . Carellin Brooks' One Hundred Days of Rain . Miranda July's The First Bad Man . We're always taking suggestions! Drop me a note!
